Let me just say that I was really excited to get this TV. So excited that I simply forgot to check the pixel response time before I went to purchase it. When I hooked my PS3 up to this TV via HDMI, I noticed horrible ghosting. This is not a fast display. If you’re going to be doing any type of gaming on this display, I would go with something else. Then, after I saw how bad the ghosting and overdrive was, I immediately went online to try to find out what the response time was and what do you know… there’s no response time listed for this model on ANY website. Even the websites that list response time put “N/A” in that section. Do yourself a favor and make sure you know the response time of your TV before you buy it. If it doesn’t list a response time, you’re probably in for trouble.
I also purchased the new 26″ UN26C4000 and that screen also had the same horrible ghosting… again, no response time listed anywhere that I could find.
In conclusion, I was not happy with the performance of this TV. If you want to go ahead and order it anyway, that’s your call, but I’m just putting the warning out that if you don’t like ghosting or overdrive, do not buy this. You’ll be disappointed. Note: I also saw a lot of ghosting in movies too.
By the way, I know how to use the display settings on my PS3, so don’t tell me that I have an issue with the PS3. I also have a 40″ Samsung that is 1080p and I have no issues with ghosting or anything.

Great picture and no sound, this was our experience with this HDTV. Buyer beware on the quality control on this model. Our advice is to try another model.

Delivery was so quick that it just took two days after ordering. It was easy to combine all components together and to set up TVs.
If you consider LCD TVs having brand power, performance, and reliability, I can say that buy this product. Fantastic!
The product shows all of cutting-edge-technologies which LCD TV can show us. The design and curvature are so great and nothing could be drawful. The weight is only 2/3 of other TVs. Picture quality is amazing!

I got this TV a little over a month ago, and have not once regretted the purchase. Before this TV I had a 32 inch Sony KDL-V32XBR1 for over 5 years, and finally decided now was going to be the time to get my own as I am moving out of my house. I did some research and found that Samsung was definitely in the lead in terms of quality and price, and finally settled on this model. I got it for 499 on sale at Best Buy, and the difference was incredible! This monitor is BEAUTIFUL, especially for 500 bucks! You might want to do a little tweaking with the color settings, but it usually does a very good job looking great without any help from you. I have HD Cable, a Xbox 360 hooked up via Component, and a PS3 hooked up with HDMI. The TV automatically senses which ports are active and only switches between the ones that have an incoming signal going to them, which is really convenient. It also has a power setting which defaults to on which will detect the ambient light and lower the back-lighting on the monitor to save power. I personally found that it lowered the light too much, as I like my movies bright and colorful, so I ended up turning it off, which I would recommend to anyone who doesn’t mind spending a little extra power on their picture.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I originally had a hard time with ghosting showing up on bluray like another reviewer, but it just didn’t make sense and unlike the other reviewer, after a little research I found that Digital Noise Reduction filters cause all the ghosting with HDTV’s these days, so once I turned that off in the TV’s menu, everything was back to being incredibly sharp and quick! Just make sure to turn that off when gaming or watching High Def movies, and you will NEVER look back on getting this TV. It has an incredible amount of BANG for the buck.

I recently purchased the Samsung LN32C530 TV and I love it. We installed it in the bedroom, and it has a feature that is a big advantage for us: the “timer on” to wake us in the morning. We use it as our alarm clock to awaken us. Almost all TVs have a “timer off” feature or a “sleep timer”, but Samsung is one of the few TV manufacturers who offer the “timer on” advantage.
Also, I become amused by a review that complains that he had to put 4 screws into 4 screw holes to install the base. Is he joking? We installed the base and had it operational in about 10 minutes with no problems, and I am a senior citizen.
This is my 2nd Samsung TV purchase this year, and they offer a superior picture at minimal price.Samsung LN32C530 32-Inch 1080p 60 Hz LCD HDTV (Black)
