I got this TV a few weeks ago. Very pleased with the number of ports (we used to have an old CRT with just ONE component input, so we got used to switching cables all the time). We don’t have HD cable yet, but man this TV upscales very nicely, I was very afraid that standard def TV would look like crap. But yea, when using my PS3 it looks absolutely amazing. I was also worried about 60Hz, I almost wanted to move up the 120Hz but as a casual user, I don’t think I’d even notice the difference.
The USB port on the side is very handy, and supports a surprising number of file formats! Not quite VLC, but way more than I’d expect to be built into a TV. We keep an external HDD hooked up to the side and keep all our media on it, it’s like a built in media center!
For the price, it’s definitely the best TV out there.

The picture is phenominal (though not quite as good as my 50″ Samsung) It’s perfects for my bedroom wall. Easy to set up and use. Love it…love it…love it.

I am happy with my purchase, but not pleased with the delivey CEVA. It was suppossed to be delivered on the 14th, then the 20th, then it came the 27th. I had to call them to set the time or who knows when it would have been delivered. The TV worked great the first night, and the next day when I unplugged it to put it on the stand the power would not come back on. I tried everything… unhooking all the cables, I called Samsung, they couldn’t help because there was no power. I let it sit all afternoon and with a prayer I tried one more time and plugged it in and it worked!!! The picture is great and I had also purchased the mediabridge cables from Amazon, and everything was simple to set up. The owners manual suggests to leave the picture size setting on 16:9 which is confusing because the some shows are full screen and others have the black bar on each side. That is why I gave it a four star rating. It is such a new model I was worried of getting a lemon. I had read the other 2 reviews. One good and one had trouble with the sound. The tv came as planned and we unpacked it and set it up. The second day it was hooked up we started to hear a buzzing noise. Called Samsung and they sent out a tech to look at it. Now we are waiting for a whole new panel to be put in. Not sure how long that will take, but hopefully we will have this problem taken care of soon. Samsung was very easy to deal with and the tech was great. Not happy with the buzzing but have to deal with it until the parts come in.

Very satisfied with my purchase. Easy to set up. Great picture. TV shipping was free and delivered as promised–even carried upstairs and removed from packing.
