First notice that this is really a fan that is intended to be used when you work with your laptop on your desktop, NOT when you work with it on your lap. I bought this because my laptop fan is very noisy and comes on often when I work at the desk. The fan definitely solved that. However, I’m a little disappointed with the noise of the fan itself. With such a big fan you would think it could be essentially silent. However, with my fan the electric motor itself is somewhat noisy. Not terribly, it almost disappears in the noise from the A/C vents, but in a quite room I would be able to hear it.

The idea of the large fan sounds great however the bottom of the fan is totally open. If you set your laptop on your lap, the fan will not spin. There is nothing in the front of the fan to keep your laptop from sliding off the fan. The fan blades are very flimbsy. One of the fan blades actually broke when it hit my finger. Price point is great – product is not good.

gave up on me within a month of my purchase. fan wont rotate, completely not working, such an useless product. bought it looking at the good reviews here. but totally disapppointed. Thumbs down all the way. did not have zero stars, and so had to select atleast one star.

I bought this for my Netbook (since the little thing get very hot). This cooling pad was a great deal. The price is stupid and the pad works great. No name brand here, just a good product.

This is a fairly inexpensive notebook cooler that does pretty much what you need it to. It’s not the best quality or even high quality, but if your purpose is to have a notebook cooler for your laptop when it’s on a flat desk/surface then it does the job well.
I would buy this if you don’t want to spend $40 for what is essentially a computer fan.
I wouldn’t buy this if you intend to use it on your lap or if you need to carry this around with your notebook.
